With more than sixteen years of experience in federal and state courts, Scott built his career around helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. He began practicing law as an attorney in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, serving as a military prosecutor at Fort Hood, Texas, where he handled serious cases involving violent felonies, child abuse, drug offenses, and military desertion.
In 2011, Scott volunteered to deploy to Iraq during Operation New Dawn. There, he worked directly with local Iraqi legal authorities as part of the U.S. Army’s Rule of Law Mission, assisting with the prosecution of insurgents detained by coalition forces.
When he returned to civilian life, Scott shifted his focus to civil litigation—representing businesses, medical professionals, and individuals in personal injury and professional liability cases. After working at a large Indiana law firm, he came back to Cleveland and opened his own practice. Today, Scott draws on his experience as a former prosecutor, military officer, and civil litigator to offer clients clear guidance, strong advocacy, and practical solutions throughout Cuyahoga County and Northeast Ohio.
